The most convenient and effective way to get around in Vienna is by public transportation.
The nearest underground, tramway, and bus stops are: 

Public transportation

  • Schottenring/Börse - tram 1, 71, D
  • Schottentor - subway U2, tram 37, 38, 40, 41, 42-43, 44
  • Lichtensteinstraße/Schottentor - bus 40a

Arrival by train

  • Main train station (Hauptbahnhof): take tram D (towards Nußdorf Beethovengang) and get off at the stop Börse.
  • Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof: take tram D (towards Absberggasse) and get off at the stop Börse.
  • Westbahnhof: take the underground U6 (towards Floridsdorf), at the stop Alser Straße, change to the tram 43, 44 and get off at the stop Schottentor.
  • Bahnhof Meidling: take the underground line U6 (towards Floridsdorf), at the stop Alser Straße, change to the tram 43, 44 and get off at the stop Schottentor.

Arrival by plane (Vienna International Airport)

  • Take the City Airport Train (CAT) to City Air Terminal, Wien Mitte, or the local train S7 (towards Wien Floridsdorf) to station Wien Mitte, change to the underground line U4 (towards Heiligenstadt), get off at station Schottenring and take tram 1 (towards Stefan-Fadinger-Platz) or 71 (towards Kaiserebersdorf) and get off at station Börse.
  • Alternatively, take the airport bus Vienna AirportLines to Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz, change to tram 1 (towards Stefan-Fadinger-Platz), and get off at the stop Börse.

Due to heavy traffic and lack of parking spots, we cannot recommend to travel by car.  

Arrival by car

  • Short-term parking with prepaid parking vouchers (Parkschein) from Mon-Fri. (30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours and 2 hours), which can be purchased at vending machines at Wasagasse/Maria-Theresien-Straße or U2 Schottentor (underground station). It is also possible to pay by app: Handyparken or via text message: +43(0)664 660 6000 or +43(0)664 660 0990.
  • Long-term parking: Wipark garage, Lichtensteinstraße 4, 1090 Vienna.
  • At Lichtensteinstraße 4 you also find two charging stations for electric cars.
