We congratulate Sebastian Eterović for receiving an FWF-ESPRIT grant "Geometric Properties of Transcendental Functions" with his co-applicant Matthias Aschenbrenner.
The project will study different kinds of unlikely intersections between algebraic varieties and important transcendental functions in arithmetic geometry by combining methods from number theory, model theory and complex analys.
